Saint Row Wrestling Episode One: Grand Beginning
Location: Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham
Theme Song: "Enemy" by Blue Stahli
Opening Segment
In some formal wear of her own Christie Hemme stands in the middle of the ring to welcome everyone in attendance to Saint Row Wrestling's very first show before informing the crowd that the General Manager has made her their official spokesperson, as well as person who declares their announcements for them. Right afterwards she declares that the first piece of business will be to crown the SRW Tag Team Champions through a two round tournament, the first of which being two five way dances, and the final being a tag team ladder match, before telling the crowd to be prepared for some thrills. The entire time never once mentioning who the General Manager is.
Match One
SRW Tag Team Championship Tournament Semi Final, Five Way Dance:
Ho Ho Lun & Tian Bing vs. British Strong Style (Tyler Bate & Trent Seven) vs. The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) vs. Chaos (Gedo & Jado) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (Bushi & EVIL)
The first match of SRW and it is an immediate brawl as everyone seems to want a piece of each other...well everyone if you discount BSS who immediatelyfled politely joined up with the commentary team and holds nothing back with their verbal onslaught of the other four teams. Quickly realising this the other four teams had enough of this and, almost out of a Benny Hill episode, began to chase Tyler and Trent around the ringside area before collectively trapping them in the middle of the ring. Like cats among a mouse the four teams pounce on them as, after a marathon of tag team finishers, both members of BSS were pinned for the three count. Within the very next split moment, in the moment of mocking BSS, EVIL rolls Viktor up with an unreasonable hold of his tights to sneakily eliminate them. Which itself made The Ascension snap, to a point where they brought out chairs and beat the verbal crap out of Bushi and EVIL while the other two teams, wisely, scooted out the ring until the two big men were done with their rampage and left. Gedo covers Bushi for the third elimination, leaving the team of Chaos facing Ho Ho Lun and Tian Bing...or not, as Tian immediately DDT Lun to to mat and walk out to a flood of boos as, after a Toru Yano-esque shrug each, they nail the Cantonese star with their tag finisher before going pinning for the victory.
Winner - Chaos
Elimination Order - BSS, Ascension, Los Ingobernables and Ho Ho Lun & Tian Bing
Time Length - 14:26
Segment Two
Backstage we see Jimmy Jacobs seemingly alone in a dark room talking to a mirror, sharply increasing his voice only for words like "HATE" "LOVE" and "REJECTION" before breaking the mirror. Immediately some lights flicker to dull life, revealing Lacey, Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder, MsChif and Nikki Cross behind him. He introduce them as Age of the Fall before declaring that Hawkins and Ryder will be leaving tonight as the Tag Team Champions. All the lights snap off right afterwards, plunging the entire scene to blackness.
Match Two
Will Ospreay w/Bea Priestley vs. Rusev w/Lana
The Aerial Artist versus the Bulgarian Brute. Speed versus power. This match could end up being amazing...could being the keyword as not long after the bell rung Bea speeds around to the other side of the ring and floors Lana with something that looks like brass knuckles. Rusev immediately comes out to his wife's aid and helps her to the back, ignoring the ten count from the referee as Will and his girlfriend triumphantly pose in the ring together.
Winner - Will Ospreay
Time Length - 0:58
Segment Three
Lana is getting treated backstage by a medical doctor as Rusev angrily shouts out in his native language. Seeing complete red as he kicks and knock things over, he shouts out for vengeance against Ospreay.
Match Three
SRW Tag Team Championship Tournament Semi Final, Five Way Dance:
Age of the Fall (Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder) vs. ReGeneration (Tessa Blanchard & Rachael Ellering) vs. The Colons (Primo and Epico) vs. Two Man Band (Heath Slater & Jimmy Rave) vs. Royal LeeDom (Princess Kimber Lee & Viper)
Hawkins and Ryder doesn't even wait for the match to start as they are seen already in the middle of a brawl with the Two Man Band backstage while The Colons find themselves in the ring with two of the three all women factions. Using their brains and experience the two slip out of the ring to leave the ladies at it...and at a war the two team are having. Whenever the two legend daughters weren't using consistent teamwork to floor the princess' group Viper has unleashing pure power at her Princess' delight and vice versa. However this had to come to an end somehow as, after seeing the four pummeling each other senseless, The Colons launch themselves in for a sneak attack...only for each of them to be floored by Viper, which itself distracts the bigger woman from the realisation that Ellering has captured an equally distracted Kimber Lee in a schoolgirl for the elimination. Viper tends to a visibly upset Princess ringside as emerging from the back AotF and 2MB are brawling down the ramp-way, each member of each team showing wear and tear. The Colons tries to use their size advantage over the two women but ended up being quickly outsmarted with a pair of tights-assisted roll-ups for the next elimination. The brawling foursome returns to the ring and absorb the two women into their chaotic scrap as no one could get a consistent advantage over the other until Hawkins and Ryder capture Jimmy Rave with a double lifting DDT to narrow it down to AotF and ReGenation. However it was at this moment Toni Storm, Viper and Kimber Lee invade the ring to unleash their beastly assault on the women who eliminated the latter pair. The onslaught was ruthless and never once did Hawkins or Ryder considered stopping it as, once Royal LeeDom leaves, the two plants Tess and Rachael with stereo lifting DDTs before going for the pin.
Winner - Age of the Fall
Elimination Order - Royal LeeDom, The Colons, Two Man Band and ReGeneration
Time Length - 19:28
Segment Four
ReGeneration member Xia Brookside confronts Christy Hemme backstage over Royal LeeDom's actions and asks her to push her request - of a match against Kimber Lee next week - towards the General Manager...only to be jumped from behind by Toni Storm and Viper in a savage attack. Princess Kimber Lee finally comes out in the end and mocks a lifeless Xia before slapping her unconscious face, laughing as she leaves with her minions right afterwards.
Match Four
Age of the Fall (Nikki Cross & MsChif) vs. Daria Berenato and Paige
The crazed manner of Nikki Cross and the sinister streak of MsChif seem to be too much for the inexperienced Daria Berenato to cope with whenever she is in the match and the constant shouting of Paige isn't helping her at all. Not that the Norwich girl was faring too much better as Nikki keeps snapping the both of their attentions off the match with her animalistic antic until catching Daria with a sickening swinging fisherman neckbreaker for the three count.
Winner - Age of the Fall
Time Length - 5:07
Segment Five
In the women's locker room we get greeted with a bootylicious angle of Lana Austin reaching into one of the lockers...only to jump at the loud banging of a door as emerging are Paige and Daria loudly blaming each other for their failure to achieve their victory. Miss Austin tries to cool down the situation and immediately found herself to be shoved onto the ground by the two arguing women. Nixon Newell enters the scene to tell the two to take it out the locker room, staring down both women until they back down and left before tending to Lana Austin.
Match Five
Wade Barrett vs. Pete Dunne
A Bare Knuckle Champion and The Bruiserweight...this could have been a beautifully stiff match...if it wasn't for Tyler Bate and Trent Seven storming the ring and helping their partner, Pete Dunne, beat down upon Barrett. This beat down continue onward and onward until Drew McIntyre comes speeding out with a lead pipe in hand. Even though having the number advantage British Strong Style chooses to flee into the crowd as the sinister Scotsman checks on the well-being of his Empire teammate.
Winner - N/A
Time Length - Never started
Segment Six
Backstage we see the other members encircle Jimmy Jacobs as he speaks to Hawkins and Ryder, praising the both of them on making it to this stage and even rest his forehead against theirs for a moment before declaring to them that they are only one match away from doing them all proud before sending them both on their way.
Main Event
SRW Tag Team Championship Tournament Final, Ladder Match
This match was absolute war. Both teams have shown bruises from their previous battles and are now throwing caution to the wind for the chance to be Saint Row Wrestling's first ever Tag Team Champions. From stereo somersault planchas, con-chair-toes and assisted spears through tables from AotF to double suicide dives, ladder sandwiches and uses of the ring post from the Chaos representatives. However there had to be a point where one team got ahead of the other...which came in the form of Hawkins catching Gedo's suicide dive, lifting him up in a spinning spinebuster and Ryder diving off the top rope to hit an assisted Rough Ryder through the commentary table. The people of Nottingham went ballistic at this as Hawkins sets a ladder up in the middle of the ring...only for the rest of Chaos to swarm out like bees, assaulting Hawkins and Ryder to a chorus of boos, until the rest of Age of the Fall storm out for vengeance in a bloodthirsty brawl. However the number game is slowly catching up with AotF...until Rusev comes storming out to chase both Will Ospreay and Bea Priestley off. Thus leaving Okada and Jacobs brawling through the audience, Toru Yano being taken down by MsChif and Nikki Cross before the two find themselves trying to take down Hirooki Goto, Zack Ryder defending Lacey from Tomohiro Ishii and Yoshi-Hashi and Curt Hawkins slowly climbing the ladder in the middle of the ring. The crowd cheer louder with each step...only to boo loudly when Jado sneaks in out of nowhere and low blows Curt before powerbombing him over the top rope and on top of multiple Age of the Fall members. Shortly after this Goto helps a barely groggy Gado up the ladder to pull down the Championship as the crowd are throwing empty plastic cups in disgust at them.
Winner - Chaos (NEW CHAMPIONS)
